lockdown 2.0

Remember those innocent days of Melbourne’s second lockdown? It felt pretty bad at the time but it all feels so distant and somehow nothing after the slog that was to follow in 2021 through lockdowns 4, 5 and 6 (3 gets a pass because it was so short!).

In the winter of 2020 I found that the peace, quiet and emptiness of the streets inspired me to make portraits of everyday scenes that I had previously overlooked. These are some of those images.
